WHAT WE
ACTUALLY FIND

Real results from real audits, anonymized. Every catalog is different — here's what our cross-source pipeline surfaces depending on what you need to know.

Identify Related Works

Catalog Mapping at Scale

A legendary US rock album from the 1980s, still actively repackaged today across compilations, soundtracks, and regional releases worldwide.

A single client-provided UPC, cross-referenced across Apple Music and Spotify, expanded automatically through ISRC-level relationship mapping.

62

related UPCs/albums surfaced worldwide — none in the client's own records

2,121

related recordings found on average per work in MLC (25,448 total)

100%

ISRC match rate on Spotify, composer credits complete

2

ISRC/ISWC conflicts flagged

These 62 releases aren't missing from a spreadsheet — they're missing from the client's field of view. Artist+title search returns noise on generic compilation titles (“Summer Hits,” “BBQ Classics,” “Various Artists”); the only reliable path is ISRC-level relationship mapping. And each work isn't just one recording: on average, 2,121 related recordings — covers, live versions, samples, remasters by other artists — sit under the same work in MLC. Every one of them is a potential source of royalties tied back to the same rights.

Map YouTube Exposure & Rights Structure

The Channel You Don't Own

An established French urban artist with a growing streaming presence, audited across her full SACEM-registered catalog and YouTube exposure — official channels and beyond.

Every SACEM-registered work ingested (39 credited tracks) and cross-referenced against a broad YouTube search — official channels, YouTube's auto-generated Topic channel, and third-party reposts alike.

416

views per subscriber on the official artist channel

11,731

views per subscriber on the auto-generated Topic channel — 28x higher

51.8%

of tracked videos live on channels the artist doesn't own

54

publishers credited across just 39 tracks (median 4 per track)

The official channel isn't where the audience actually is. YouTube's Topic channel — auto-generated, unmanaged, with barely 5,000 subscribers — converts views 28 times more efficiently than the official one, and just over half of the artist's top-performing videos sit entirely outside her own channels. The pattern even shifts by content type: Feat content drives the majority of views on owned channels (27.8%), while lyric videos overperform on external ones (14.3% vs 9.9% for Feat) — acquisition and retention are happening in different places, through different content. None of this is visible from an artist's own channel dashboard, and with 54 publishers spread across just 39 works, knowing exactly where value is created matters even more.

Identify MLC Claims

Uncollected Rights Detection

A major French-language album, distributed widely worldwide, broadly assumed to be fully collected.

Full metadata audit cross-referencing Apple Music, Spotify, and MLC (US mechanical rights), track by track.

100%

composer credit completeness — the metadata itself isn't the problem

52.5%

average MLC-matched share actually claimed

8.2%

lowest claimed share found on a single track

23.1%

of matched works flagged with rights conflicts

Clean-looking metadata doesn't mean fully collected rights. This is the gap between the data existing and the money actually reaching the rights holder — invisible until someone cross-references collection societies against DSP-level matching, track by track.
